Treble A Sports is based in the Ranges owned and operated by Atlantic Leisure Ltd at 8 Grundy Street. The building was constructed in 1845 and is probably the last example of the many warehouses that were built to support the American Cotton trade and the North of England’s textile industry.
The building has two floors – a basement and an upper floor.
The Basement
The Basement contains two 20 yard ranges, which Atlantic Leisure named as Full Bore and Small Bore. The names reflect their usage when Atlantic Leisure Ltd operated as a firearms range. Both ranges are available for air and BB pistol and rifle use.
Each range has 8 firing points, and each point has a manually operated target retrieval system. The retrieval system allows targets to be positioned at distances varying from 0 to the full 20 yards.
The retrieval system avoids the need for entry into the shooting area or for range control officers.

The Upper Floor
The Upper Floor consists of a single large open area, which is used primarily for Archery. The Floor is large enough to provide an 18 metre flight. Moveable target bosses are provided.
The Floor also contains 12 firing points for Air Rifle and Air Pistol. These provide a 25 yard distance from firing point to target and are available when the Floor is not in use for Archery.
